Black flip flops - I saw them!

Last year, I went to a beautiful wedding. It was at a small winery with a fantastic view over the valley. Everything took place at the house including the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The bride wore this beautiful lace dress with a lace veil that matched. It was cream in color and mermaid style and just fit her perfectly. The dance floor was on the patio and everyone had a fantastic time.

While on the dance floor, I saw the bride dancing it up with her new husband. They looked great and you could tell they were having an awesome time. All of a sudden, I saw a flash of black. What in the world?

Guess what it was ladies? The bride was wearing black flip flops. They were the same flip flops she had used the day before at the picnic rehearsal dinner. Although the flip flops looked extremely comfortable, they also did not match her dress at all. The flashes of black kept appearing as the bride kicked up her heels to dance. I knew the bride had been tired since she had been on her feet all day, but black flip flops? Why didn't anyone buy her a pair of wedding flip flops? Or, just a pair of white flip flops to match her dress? The black flip flops really ruined her look.

I heard her talk about them later to her bridesmaids and she mentioned that she had tried to buy flip flops, but couldn't find any. I only wished she had come here to look :Wedding Flip Flops

A word of advice ladies - it's your wedding day! you want to look beautiful, but also be able to stand the entire night. If so, get some wedding flip flops so you aren't wearing your normal beach flip flops. You may not think it stands out, but it does!
