Recently, one of my friends showed me her wedding dress, a beautiful Justin Alexander Couture gown with a gorgeous rhinestone belt across the middle. It has a soft chantilly lace enveloping it and the whole thing is very feminine and glamorous. So, her dilemma was, what wedding shoes should she choose with the dress?
Here is the dress below:
Her problem was that she couldn't decide what to do. She had picked out a few that would match perfectly with little rhinestones decorating the shoes, similar to the dress. Then, because the dress was so white, she felt like she should consider another color like champagne or gold. Finally, her bridesmaids were all wearing fuschia and she was considering just going for it and doing something dramatic. Her natural personality was fun and glamorous, but she had picked a dress that was more elegant and feminine. To glam it up, we talked about choosing fuschia wedding shoes for something different and fun.
I found a few pairs (above) for her that I thought would work out perfectly with her feminine ball gown dress as well as her own personal requirements. The fuschia bridal shoes were really bright, but she loved them, especially since she could wear them again later with her other outfits and they matched her bridesmaid dresses perfectly. She liked the color fuschia so much that we went out and found a few for her to try them on against her dress. There were so many varieties of fuschia heels. Some I show below and some are here in the pink wedding shoes shopping section. She also just loved the simple rhinestone bridal shoes that just went well with her wedding dress. The champagne shoe wasn't something that she liked as much given her dress, but she still loved the stlye. So many decisions! She's still deciding so let me know - what would you wear?
