Holiday colors - great for weddings too

October is here and I am so excited thinking about the upcoming holidays. After Halloween, actually, sometimes, during Halloween, the stores get decorated with holiday decorations and the holiday music starts playing, and I just feel like shopping! This year, I can't wait for the big winter sales, the ones where the stores move all of their fall/winter season out and you can score huge bargains everywhere - Prada, Gucci, Dior, Jimmy Choo! And, here's a trick for you women that love to score bargains, but sometimes miss out because you haven't gone early enough - go to Vegas!

Vegas has just about every store you want and the boutiques in the hotels do not sell out. Last July, my friends and I scored great deals everywhere. At the Manolo store inside the Wynn hotel, everything was on sale and even my size 6 shoes hadn't sold out yet. Being an LA native, everyone knows that this is rare. Girls usually snap these shoes up so quickly that if you don't ditch work in the morning, you don't have a chance. So, ladies, if you want to score big, go to Vegas towards the end of November, early December when all of the major sales are going on.

If you can't wait though and are getting married soon, check out these 2 great pairs of shoes that I found that would be perfect as bridal shoes.

These emerald colored shoes would be great going out in South Beach, but they would also be so fun under a trendier, flowy bridal dress. If you're getting married at a beach location, consider buying these shoes.

The second pair of shoes I found are these fabulous Christian Louboutin Triclo Crisscross d'Orsay shoes.

These red patent leather shoes crisscross in the front making your feet look long and elegant. Since they are patent, they look fancier and shiny and would be the perfect thing to peep out under a princess or ball gown dress. If you want to do something different, try these on with your dress. Just having that signature Louboutin red peep out from the back is enough to make anyone buy them for their wedding day.

Colors ladies. I really believe that they make your bridal ensemble so different and so fun. Why go with white when you can sneak in your favorite color underneath your dress.

Oh, before I forget, let me sneak in this final shoe. This isn't a holiday color per se, but it's a holiday shoe and you can't get more glamorous than this. Check out these purple suede Louboutins, called the Alta Nodo Platform d'Orsay shoe.

With fancy pleats in the front and knotted in the middle, these shoes make you taller and much more glamorous. Wear these under your dress and women will just be looking at your shoes - and when has that been a bad thing?

So, ladies. Those are 3 new shoes that I've found recently for your big day. Hey - there's no better excuse to buy your first pair of Louboutins than your wedding day! That's the excuse I used and now I have 5. Don't tell my husband though! Best to tell him you need those designer wedding shoes for your big day.
