So, I’ve been hearing a lot about Vera Wang bridal shoes and I just had to see them for myself. I kept wondering – why is everyone making such a big deal out of them?
When I first took a look at them, I wondered what the fuss was all about. The 2 shoes I found (see below) are just really simple. They didn’t seem to have any rhinestones or crystals on them. Nor, were they elaborate or decorated with any bows. The one major benefit I saw was that the shoes were made out of dyeable white satin so you could make them any color you want. Also, another great thing is that both pairs of shoes were on sale for $195 from $395.
So, I decided to go to the store to look at them. I went to a few stores and found only 2.
The first one, called the Vera Wang Kitty Bridal shoes have a pointed toe with an ankle strap on the back. They have a 3 3/8 inch heel and online, are only available in a size 9.5.
The second one, called the Vera Wang Soney Bridal shoes are very simple and stylish. They have a delicate strap across the top of the foot and adjustable ankle straps.
Amazingly, the online pictures don’t give justice to how they look in the store and how comfortable they feel. They are made very well, like most designer shoes, and everything feels great when you slip into them. They are also very flattering on your feet. After trying them on in the store and looking at them in the mirror, I realized what girls were talking about when you try on a Vera Wang dress. At first, on the rack, that dress may not look as good as you think. At times, the dress even looks dumpy or simply not cute. But, after you put on that Vera Wang wedding dress, you realize what an amazing designer she is – the dress is amazing and very beautiful and the cuts are very flattering to the body.
This is the same for the shoes. Although the shoes are very simple, they flatter your feet and legs very well. They are also simple because her dresses tend to be more elaborate and an ornate, embellished shoe would not balance well with a decorated dress.
