Find Me the Perfect Wedding Shoes - White, Red or Black?

Hi ladies!  We're continuing our tradition of finding brides the perfect wedding shoes.  If you are a bride that can't seem to figure out what bridal shoes to wear or which ones to choose, you can email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Recently, we received the following email from a bride:

"I need the perfect shoes! Red, White & Black are my wedding colors. I would like a 2 or 3 inch heel and the style doesnt really matter. Red shoes would be the best. :) please help me!"

She enclosed a picture of her gorgeous wedding dress that you can see below.

 

 

So, our stylists got to work looking for the best wedding shoes for this bride.  Here are there suggestions below:

Your dress is so romantic.  Really an elegant look so I picked some suggestions based on the romance and elegance of your dress.  I really wanted to choose bridal shoes that continued to emphasize the romantic look.  So, I really looked for feminine heels that would subtly peep out and complete that look.   Something that would continue the long clean lines of your A-line dress.  I want everyone’s attention to be focused on your dress and then be “wowed” when they look at these beautiful shoes I chose.

Hi - Love, love the glamour of your dress.  I love the rhinestones and beading and wanted to try and help them stand out with the shoes I chose.  Take a look – using the shoes I chose, the sparkles of the rhinestones will be emphasized even more and everyone who looks down will want to look back up again at the gorgeousness of your dress!  I also chose a pair of silver wedding shoes just in case you change your mind and want to match the silver with the rhinestones.

Congrats!  I’m really excited for you!  I think you can go one of 2 ways.  Either really simple so your dress will be the stand out piece of your outfit or really elaborate so that everyone will look at your dress and see how gorgeous you are, but then look at your shoes and be green with envy at how awesome your bridal attire is.  So, I chose 2 extremes – something simple vs. something elaborate.  You can go either way depending on how you feel.  One bride of mine actually bought 2 shoes – she wore the simple one for the ceremony so she could show off her dress and then the elaborate one during the reception so she could show off her shoes while dancing all night!  The guests loved both!

 

Here are my choices, I listed the simple first and then the elaborate second:

Red:  Nina Culver or Quest Heel - Red

Black:  David Tate Holiday OR  Kate Spade New York Muse

White:  Nina Culver (I just love these shoes! )

So, what did the bride ultimately choose?  The winner was the white wedding shoes RSVP Shanda shown below.  We think it will look gorgeous with her dress and the rhinestones add just the right sparkle and touch.
