How to Show Off your Feet in your Bridal Shoes
Think about what shoes look best on your feet and choose the bridal shoe that shows them off the best. Don’t forget, if you choose an open-toe shoe, schedule a pedicure one or 2 days before so your feet and toes will look the best.If you go with a closed-toe, don’t worry as much since your feet will be hidden.
1. Wide feet:If you have wide feet, don’t choose a narrow shoe, they’ll make your feet stick out, especially if you choose an open toe shoe.Look for wide wedding shoes that have a larger width or go with a T-strap to give the illusion of slimmer feet.Also consider the D’Orsay which is more forgiving on wider feet.
2. Big feet: If you’ve always wanted slightly smaller feet or you're trying to create the illusion of smaller feet, consider closed toe round shoes.Don’t go with a closed toe pointed shoe which gives at least another half inch to the length of your feet (the extra point doesn’t fit on the feet).Also, consider the T-strap since the extra detail in the middle diverts people away from the length of the shoe and feet and cuts the feet in the middle making them look smaller.
3. Funny toes: If your toes are different lengths, consider closed toe shoes, either round or pointed.Or, try a peep toe shoe that will show a little toe, but not all of your toes.
Finally, schedule a pedicure the week of your wedding and another one a month before your wedding. Pedicures have to be consistent to be successful so try to get at least two. You want to show off those wedding feet and a pedicure is the best way to do that!
